3 Pizza Recipes for an Epic Super Bowl Party
You’ve decided to host a Super Bowl watch party on Sunday. You could easily order a handful of pizzas from your local Dominos or Pizza Hut and pick up a case of beer and call it a Sunday. But what’s football (or any party) without good food? Try these 3 easy pizza recipes made with fresh ingredients that every football and pizza fan will love. Get cooking!
1. Vegetarian Potato, Onion, and Rosemary Pizza
INGREDIENTS:
- Store-bought pizza dough
- Shredded Low Moisture Mozzarella
- Store-bought or homemade tomato sauce
- 3-4 Yukon gold potatoes, quartered
- ½ vidalia onion, thinly sliced
- 2 fresh rosemary sprigs, minced
- Olive oil
- Flake salt
DIRECTIONS:
- Place a pizza stone in the oven and preheat at 500ºF or as hot as your oven will go, for at least 20 minutes.
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface.
- Toss the potatoes in olive oil, 1 tablespoon rosemary, salt, and pepper. Roast the potatoes until fork tender and golden brown.
- Top the pizza dough with tomato sauce, shredded mozzarella, potatoes, onion, and remaining tablespoon of rosemary
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Sprinkle with flake salt slice and serve.
2. Spicy Arugula Prosciutto Pizza
INGREDIENTS:
- Store-bought pizza dough
- Fresh mozzarella ball
- 1 package prosciutto
- ¼ cup pecorino romano, shaved
- 4 cups fresh arugula, shaved
- 1 garlic clove, grated
- 2 tbsp chili oil, plus more for serving
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Juice of ½ lemon
DIRECTIONS:
- Place a pizza stone in the oven and preheat at 500ºF or as hot as your oven will go, for at least 20 minutes.
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a 12-inch round. Transfer to a flour-dusted pizza peel or another upside-down baking sheet. Slide the dough onto the hot pizza stone or baking sheet.
- Bake the dough shell for 6-8 minutes. Meanwhile, combine 2 olive oil in a bowl with the garlic, and salt and pepper.
- Remove the pizza from the oven, brush with the olive oil mixture and top with mozzarella. Return the pizza to the oven and bake until the cheese is golden and bubbly about 5 more minutes.
- Toss the arugula in a large bowl with 2 tablespoons chili oil, lemon juice, and salt and pepper.
- Top the pizza with the arugula, prosciutto and shaved pecorino romano. Drizzle pizza with extra chili oil if desired Cut into slices.
3. Classic Meat Lovers Pizza
INGREDIENTS:
- Store-bought pizza dough
- Shredded Low Moisture Mozzarella
- Store-bought or homemade tomato sauce
- Italian sausage, sliced in ¼” rounds and cooked
- Pepperoni
- 3-4 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 5-6 Cremini mushrooms, thinly sliced

- Place a pizza stone in the oven and preheat at 500ºF or as hot as your oven will go, for at least 20 minutes.
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface.
- Top the dough with tomato sauce, shredded mozzarella, sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, and bacon.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Slice and serve.
